These posters are part of a collaboration between myself and Cooper Union students: Rachel Matts, Reed Burgoyne, David Maron, Erik Winkowski, and Sascha Mombartz. The project involves reclaiming 200 or so sheets of paper on which I printed the base art (one color word bubbles) for a poster for an event called “Where’s My Democracy?” in 2004. These things have been sitting in my flat files ever since. Each of us is ignoring my original intent and designing and silkscreening at least 3 new posters from these pre-existing sheets.
The posters were exhibited at the Cooper Union.
