I was asked to design this poster using the School of Visual Art’s new tagline, “How Bad Do You Want To Be Good.” I found this very difficult.

In the end, the poster plays with the idea of “good” and “bad”. Something “good” (rainbows), doing something “bad” (falling out of the sky), to the “good” (children), drawn in a cheesy “bad” manner (characters that look like they come from Christian cartoonland rather than a fancy art school). Co design: Peter Ahlberg.

Since it lives on the NYC subways, there were some quick responses to this poster.
