When I started this drawing I hadn’t considered what i would do when I arrived at Paranthropus man’s genitals. Please consider that I chose to draw on the top of the board, where the surfer--who would more than likely be me--sits. The drawing actually stalled for a few weeks while I considered my next move.
I like to think that I simply decided to ‘abstract’ this area of the drawing by putting it in shadow. However, a number of people have since refered to Paranthropus man as ‘she.’
Sorry Paranthropus man.
