A proposal which I was really excited about when I suggested it along with the cover that eventually went.
On another note, not only did I recycle this idea recently for a New York Times Op-Ed illustration, I just remembered that I also used a similar idea for another poster years before either of these works. I was going to write that I typically try to avoid doing this, at least in such an obvious way, but I guess that isn’t true.
I think that this idea, applied to this cover, is most interesting of the three.
